As our son was growing up his dad would take him fishing every spring. They would get out the fishing boat and take it to a couple of nearby lakes and fish for bass. When our son got into about the 7th grade they stopped going fishing and for many years my husband never even used the boat. Our son is now grown up, graduated from college and getting married this August. Suddenly out of the blue he called his dad a few weeks ago and wanted to go fishing...so they dusted off the boat (literally) and off they went. In all the times they have fished together they have caught VERY FEW fish. This time they each kept a couple of bass and they released some trout. Can I tell you how excited they were.
