I'm a fish hobbyist, so this would be the first time I've kept a frog. I brought the little guy home, placed him in the tank and tried feeding him. He didn't eat anything, so I figured that he just needed to get used to his environment. A day later, I tried feeding him again. Still he hasn't eaten anything. Now, he mostly hides out inside the fish log I have floating in the water (he seems to adore it!). I'm not sure if he's eating when I'm not looking.. but it's really starting to worry me. I've been feeding the frog TetraFauna ReptoMin. He doesn't seem to be touching the mini-sticks or mini-krill. He has tried to eat the baby shrimp a few times.. though I don't think he got much down. The baby shrimp usually falls out of his mouth and onto the floor. Once the food hits the gravel, he doesn't touch it again.Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I have no idea why he won't eat.. Maybe he is eating while I'm away? I hope so.. I can't tell whether or not the food is being eaten though. | |
