| favorite fish recipe | | I just have to post this. I made this tonight for supper. I take fillets of Mahi Mahi.... that's a type of fish.... Then I make sure it's defrosted. I mix in a bowl the juice from half a lemon and 2 tablespoons of butter... This is for 2 decent sized fillets.... If you make more, i would add more of each, but you may have enough here for 3 fillets. Make sure the butter is melted... mix it up really good. Add just a dash of salt..... Then put a little cooking oil and about 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan. start the frying pan on low, just to melt the butter... while doing this put 1 fillet of the fish in the mix.... make sure that you cover both sides of it and place it in the frying pan. Do the same with the remaining fillets.... Pan fry it until done.. it should look golden brown... It is very good. After you have it out of the pan... if you have any mix left, you can pour it over for added flavor and I always put more lemon juice and salt on mine. I hope you all enjoy this..... | |
| | | What's your favourite fish recipe? | | Breaded Alaskan Pollock fillets - this is proving a hit in our household! Straight from the supermarket (of course[em]wink[/em]) but it takes about 16 to 20 minutes in the oven, served with mash and a parsley sauce.[em]happy[/em]What's your favourite fish recipe? | |

| | Thrown Together Meal | | I tend to try and make meals from odd items sitting around. Tonight (Saturday) was that type of dinner which I made. Here's a photo of that dinner. I used a box of Beef flavored Rice-A-Roni; about 1 1/2 pounds hanburger; some white rice; mushrooms; a can of diced tomatoes with hot peppers etc; and some chili and garlic powder. It turned out great and is so tasty. Dad even said it's good. Something he seldoms does actually, so I am happy for this meal. When was the last time you threw together a meal with odd things you've around the house etc?As always.....

| Are you good in frying fish | | I have friends that encounter difficulty in frying fish, I mean the whole fish. I always been telling them that the oil must be heated up before the fish is being put in to it as then the skin of the fish will not stick to the pan/ wok. How about you? Is there any good tips for frying fish so that the skin will still be intact?[em]rasp[/em] | |
