We all walked out and buried h im in the garden, he was to big to flush and may sounds nuts but we loved that fish!!!!!!!!
| | No Thank You | | Currently there is an ad running on UK mylot that portrays a row of young ladies and suggests that online dating is the answer to our prayers - if you're male I presume.I am extremely fortunate. Apart from having a lovely wife - The Boss - I also have so many ladies(and a few men) of all ages, all absolutely knock out gorgeous, and all happy to natter away to me about the most banal things. It's not dating, but it is so lovely to have so many kind, caring friends. I'd just like to take this moment to thank you all. You will never know just how much you have helped this silly old fish over the past couple of years. Hugs and kisses to you all. | |
| | Yes, Virginia, fish DO have birthdays! | | Oh, father Christmas, do tell us true. Do fish have birthdays? Why yes, of course, little Virginia, fish have birthdays every year just like you do! And they have little fishy cakes and yummy fishy ice cream and even little fishy presents too! What's that you say? You know a fish who's 51 years old today?????? My goodness, Virginia, that's a pretty old fish. Someone must be taking very good care of that particular fish. Yes, father Christmas, there IS someone taking very good care of that fish. And not just one someone, but many someones! One shoos him off to bed, one spanks his bottom when he misbehaves, and one talks to him every day and that makes everyone very happy, father Christmas. And you know what's really cool, father Christmas? He reads US stories!! Yes, really, he does, he does. Wonderful stories and they make us feel all warm and gushy inside, just like we're all teddy bears or something. We love our fishy more than any other fish in the whole wide world. And his birthday is just the best day of the year! After all, it's the day he was born into this world and that was a very happy day indeed. Happy Birthday, little fish. I love you. | |

| | I find it hard to believe that Obama's "Pig" comment was geard only at Palin | | Obama made the following comment:
“John McCain says he’s about change, too, and so I guess his whole angle is, ‘Watch out George Bush.’ Except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics … That’s not change. That’s just calling something the same thing, something different,” Obama said.
“But you know … you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. You know, you can … wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, it’s still going to stink after eight years.”Now the McCain party is all up in arms saying that this is aimed directly at Palin. Now I personally do not favor either camp and don't even cast a mainstream vote, but I have to defend Obama on this one. To me, he is referring to the entire McCain party saying that they are still Republicans and that will never change. By voting for them you will get another 4 years of Bush. What is your call on this?
| | A Pig is Still a Pig!! | | Obama's latest remark. You can put lipstick on a pig," he said to an outbreak of laughter, shouts and raucous applause from his audience, clearly drawing a connection to Palin's joke even if it's not what Obama meant. "It's still a pig. You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still going to stink after eight years."
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080910/ap_on_el_pr/obama_lipstickPretty nasty but hey if her lipstick remark is all that can be picked on regarding Palin after a week of deep digging into her life then she must not have any really big skeletons in her closet.I honestly am getting pretty disgusted with both the Republican and Democratic campaign maneuvers. When are we going to hear some actual plans for solving the real issues which affect each and every one of us? So far all I have heard are lofty typical political promises. Can anyone tell me what really sounds like a good achievable plan? Something that will help me...Ms. Middle class living on a fixed income or a normal every day working class family .

| | Obama: 'Lipstick on a pig' | | Amie Parnes reports from Lebanon, VA:Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra."You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig.""You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink.""We've had enough of the same old thing."The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0908/Obama_Lipstick_on_a_pig.htmlSo, what do you think? Was Obama referring to Gov. Palin when he said the word pig? | |
| | So what is it about Lingerie? | | Underwear to the average man is just that I think. A functional set of garments. But I have met few woman that didn't find something special about lingerie. Now without being crude and pervy I can see that there may well be something sensuous about having silk and fine cotton next to the skin. Nylon though - never. I can see the sexual allure of beautiful undies in exciting a mate. But just what is it that you ladies feel please. Can you explain it to this bewildered old fish? | |
