Mobbs Creek
- Lardeau River Confluence $12,116
The Mobbs Creek projects
objectives are to restore and protect fish and fish habitat
by protection and stabilization of the Mobbs Creek stream bank.
Gerrard rainbow stock presently at risk due to a large debris
torrent (November 1999) that deposited silt and debris on and
over the entire spawning grounds. The plan is to rip-rap the
north bank of Mobbs Creek to prevent erosion and ensure Mobbs
Creek flows in a southward direction away from the spawning
grounds.
