Project WET Workshops $2,500

Project Wet is one component of the Habitat Conservation Trust Fund's education programs. This program is a "train the trainers" workshop that provides some instruction and an activity guide to help get education on aquatic ecosystems into the classroom. The one-day workshop combines field and classroom exercises to introduce educators to ways to generate interest in aquatic ecosystems. By fostering an appreciation for natural ecosystems, youth will be encouraged to develop a stewardship ethic, or respectful attitude, for these areas.
