Creating Bear Aware Communities

The Columbia Mountains Institute of Applied Ecology (CMI) received $5,000 from CKFRP to hold a two bear aware workshop in Revelstoke. The workshop, to be held in October, will educate workshop participants on the nature of bear/human conflicts and demonstrate how to avoid them. CMI hopes to draw participants and community leaders from across the Columbia Basin.
