Golden Bear Aware Program

During bear season, conservation officers in B.C. respond to thousands of calls and complaints about bears. The Bear Aware program aims to educate the public on how to prevent human-bear conflicts and reduce the number of "problem" bears that have to be destroyed each year. CKFRP has given the program $5,000 in funding to implement the program this year.
