Elk
River Cutthroat Trout Telemetry
This
is the first year of a two-year radio telemetry project to identify
tributaries of the Elk River used by spawning Westslope cutthroat
trout. By studying the status and life history of the trout,
researchers will identify critical habitats for protections
and enhancement. CKFRP has contributed $24,548 to this project.
