Genelle
Side Channel Feasibility & Design
The
Genelle side channel, a popular spawning habitat for rainbow
trout, is prone to "dewatering" in April and May when the Keenleyside
Dam reduces flows. This study aims to determine how best to
improve the channel for rainbow trout, study the trout's characteristics
and educate the public about the importance of the fish habitat.
CKFRP contributed $69,286 to this project.
