Columbia River Community Greenways

With the first phase complete, the Greenways Project is ready to establish office space to coordinate their efforts. With $20,000 in funding from CKFRP, they will be able to operate for one year with the expectation of continued funding. The group is implementing greenways pilot projects in and between the communities of Invermere and Radium Hot Springs. Greenways are linear corridors that connect natural areas within our communities, thereby contributing to our overall quality of life through conservation, recreation and economic development.
