Joseph Creek Awareness & Environmental Education

The $5,100 funded by CKFRP for the Joseph Creek Awareness and Environmental Education project will be used to continue the third year of study. The program's short-term goal is to realize an enhanced and sustained fisheries value in Joseph Creek, while the long-term goal is to use the Joseph Creek model to address urban stream issues in other settings. The project provides scientifically credible environmental education programs for students at Mount Baker Secondary School. Once these students have acquired enough knowledge, they will in turn educate primary students and the public.
