Kinbasket Resevoir Bull Trout Radio Telemetry

Efforts to tag and track bull trout in the Kinbasket Resevoir have been ongoing since 1998. CKFRP is funding $8,050 for the final year of the project, in which biologists will track fish tagged in previous years to their spawning areas. This will help them determine which areas require special protection. Ultimately, the project will result in increased bull trout stocks and better angling opportunities.
