Upper Columbia Sonic and RadioTelemetry Project

Funding Allocated: $20,000
Location: Trail, BC / Revelstoke, BC

The goal of this project is to purchase 60 sonic tags, 25 radio tags and 6 sonic CHAT tags to support tracking of white sturgeon in the Arrow Lakes and Revelstoke and transboundary reaches of the Columbia River. The tracking project will provide information on habitat requirements and preferences and seasonal distribution of white sturgeon.
