Gordon Terrace Elementary School

Students from Mr. Wilson’s grade 4 class at Gordon Terrace Elementary School will investigate what happens to “run off” when it goes down the storm sewer. Then they will work with parent volunteers to paint “fish signs” beside all the storm sewers in the Gordon Terrace catchment area in May 2003. This will be part of an awareness program to raise students’ and the general public’s awareness of what happens to “run off” after it goes down the storm sewers and where it finishes up. They will also investigate how it can affect the quality of the water in creeks and rivers downstream.
