Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area - Wetland Educational Experiences for K-12 - $3,500

This project will develop and deliver outdoor living classroom experiences to approximately 2,000 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, from May to October 2004. Program delivery will take place at the Wildlife Interpretation Centre and outside utilizing the 30 km.'s of dykes, trails, boardwalk, riparian areas and ponds located in the 17,000-acre Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area wetland. The educational programs will foster critical thinking in the integrated areas of environmental valuing, sustainable development and economic prosperity. This project will reach out to and serve school districts from all over the Basin Region.
