Creston Valley Garden Festival - $2,600

This Project will:

Encourage Crestonites to celebrate the social, environmental values, economic opportunities and beauty inherent in the fertility of the Creston Valley.

Encourage and invite outsiders from near and far, and in doing so, add to the Creston Valley economic stature.

The Core Activities of the Garden Festival are:
- Tours of 12 of the finest gardens.
- Gardening Workshops
- Artisan Market.
- Kids Activity Corner

A Community Festive Element through the “Gardi Gras” (a family evening of fun and games) and new this year: “Lunch with David Tarrant” a renowned Horticulturist speaking on Water Conservation.
Through the “Brunch With David Tarrant” we will Inform and Educate the participants in the importance of water conservation in Gardening.
