Kootenay Trout Hatchery Tour Guide/Program Interpreter - $6,500

This project will hire an individual for an 18 week period to inform and educate the general public, school groups, and other groups about:

- The need to maintain, preserve and repair natural habitats for the preservation of indigenous species;
- The awareness of endangered & threatened species; and
- The programs of the Kootenay Trout Hatchery

NOTE: Kootenay Trout Hatchery receives approximately 10,000 visitors annually; approximately 95% of these visitors come between May and September.
