Revelstoke Bear Aware Program - $3,500

The Revelstoke Bear Aware Program will employ one person to coordinate volunteers, deliver school programs, set up and staff information displays at public events, and communicate with people directly to educate the population of Revelstoke about how they can identify and reduce bear attractants in and around their homes and places of employment.

This will benefit the community by reducing the amount of bear/human conflict and associated bear deaths in the area.
