Support for Three Educational Workshops - $10,000

The Columbia Mountains Institute is hosting three upcoming workshops, titled “Identification and Protection of Critical Habitat for Species at Risk”, “Creating Bear Aware Communities”, and “Recovery of Mountain Caribou Populations”. These events will increase awareness and understanding of impacts of communities and human uses of landscapes on local and regional ecosystems. A result of these workshops will be better management of resources and people, which will lead to more robust ecosystems.
