The Revestoke Bear Aware program strives to reduce bear/human conflict in the community of Revelstoke, BC and surrounding areas. In 2006, Revelstoke Bear Aware will be participating in two local community festivals aimed at increasing local ecological knowledge to both children and the general public. Participation in these festivals will aid in spreading the Bear Aware message throughout the community, as well as providing a new and innovative platform for program delivery.
