A public information camaign will inform area residents of the importance of timely and complete fruit harvesting in preventing human-bear encounters. Volunteers will pick and press fruit which would otherwise be left on trees using a "community fruit press" which will also be available for loan out to individuals. Juice produced by volunteers from "wild trees" will be donated to community non-profit ventures.
