The Wild Voices for Kids Program was developed to reach students across the Upper Columbia River Valley Basin region of the East Kootenays within the Rocky Mountain School District #6.

This project is an environmental/heritage education program which connects students to the land, history and culture of the Columbia Basin. It was developed in 1997. The program has ran successfully in partnership with the Rocky Mountain School District #6 for 9 years and provides environmental and heritage education programming to students.
