Confluence Park Restoration - $11,600

This project is to block vehicle access to the riparian area north of the confluence of Kickinghorse and Columbia Rivers using concrete barriers decorated with fish stencils created by local school classes. The damaged riparian areas on both sides of the confluence will be re contoured and planted with native willow, red osier dogwood and cottonwood trees. The parking lot along the road will be improved. Public education and interpretive materials will be developed.
