Joseph
Creek Stream Crossing and Fish Passage Improvement - $12,550
Bill
Petruk - Landowner
Cranbrook, BC
This project will remove and replace
a set of culverts on Lower Joseph Creek that are currently a
fish passage barrier during high and low flows. Many culverts
on Joseph Creek are an impediment to upstream migrating Westslope
Cutthroat trout, an important fish historically found in Joseph
Creek. The 4 small culverts will be replaced with one large
open bottom culvert capable of handling Joseph Creek flood flows
and allowing easier migration for fish.
