This is a multi-stakeholder water stewardship initiative, designed to safeguard Lake Windermere and the communities that rely on its resources. The LWP actively protects and enhances Lake Windermere ecosystems with scientifically-sound water quality monitoring, public education and engagement activities, and in future with necessary maintenance, restoration and/or improvement projects. Led by Wildsight, the project represents the interests and actions of more than a dozen partners, including all levels of government, area NGOs and the public.
